Green, warm, and deceptively gentle. The deadliest thing in the south is how safe it feels. Its beasts kill with beauty. Bright feathers, soft voices, and graceful forms that draw you closer for a better look. Those who fall here fall willingly. On Qingqiu, the Jiu Wei Hu takes the shape of a person too beautiful to turn from. Man or woman, no one who sees it can help but fall for it. Above them all, the Feng Huang circles high in the sky. It is said that with a single beat of its wings, one dynasty rises and another falls. It appears only in an age worth saving. It has not been seen in a long time.
