For Those Who Come After.
Shaped like a sheep, with nine tails and four ears, its eyes set in its back. It sees what lies behind it, the very place you believed safest from its gaze. Nothing catches it unawares. It watches even in sleep, never once offering anyone its back. Every fear is born from what cannot be seen, but it has no unseen side. The hunter slips behind it, certain he has found the blind spot, only to meet the quiet stare of the eyes upon its back. Eat its heart and fear leaves you. A blade at your throat will not shake you. An ambush in the dark will not startle you. Fear is born from the unknown, and nothing remains unknown to your eyes. But fear was never your enemy. It was the instinct that knew when a battle could not be won. An ordinary man sees a beast beyond his strength and turns back, living because he did. You do not. Seeing every danger with perfect clarity, you step forward all the same, until a single blow kills you. Fear was the last warning life ever gave you.
形如羊，九尾四耳，一双眼睛却长在背上。它望得见身后，望得见你自以为藏得最好的那个方向。 无人能偷袭它。它睡时也醒着，四面八方尽收眼底，这一生，从未有一刻真正把后背交给过谁。天下的畏惧，皆源于那看不见的一方，而它，没有看不见的一方。猎人绕到它背后，以为寻到了破绽，抬眼却撞上它背上那双眼睛，正静静望着自己。 食其心者，畏惧尽去。刀锋加颈，你不乱；暗处伏杀，你不惊。因为再没有什么，能从你望不见之处袭来。人这一生怕的，从来不是刀，是不知刀从哪来，而你，从此什么都看得见。 可畏惧从不是懦弱，它是你身上最后一道拦你送死的关。寻常人见了力所不及的凶兽，会退，会逃，正是那一退，留住了性命。你不会了。明知那东西远胜过你，你仍旧提刀迎上去，眼里没有一丝怯意，直到它一爪将你拍碎，你到死都不明白，自己为何非要上前。 怕，本是命留给你的最后一句劝告。
