For Those Who Come After.
Shaped like a macaque, its arms covered in mottled markings, a leopard's tail trailing behind. It shares Mount Chongwu with the Man Man, yet it is the mountain's true hunter. It is a master of the throw. Whatever comes to hand, a loose stone, a broken branch, a splinter of bone, leaves its grasp like an arrow loosed from the bow with a force no flesh can endure. A single stone can punch through a beast or shatter solid rock. Once you fall within its sight, you cannot outrun its aim. Run, dodge, roll against the ground; it makes no difference. The stone will find you, striking exactly where it means to. It stands atop the mountain, with the whole range spread out beneath its eyes. The stones at its feet are weapons waiting to be thrown. There is only one way to survive: hide somewhere it cannot see you before it raises its hand. For once its arm is in the air, the stone is already between your eyes. Eat its heart, and you take that unerring aim. From then on, nothing within your sight can escape your throw. Once the hand is raised, nothing escapes.
