For Those Who Come After.
Shaped like a horse, white-bodied and black-tailed, with a single horn upon its brow, yet bearing the fangs and claws of a tiger. When it opens its mouth, the sound is that of a beating drum. It eats tigers and leopards. Yet tooth and claw are not what make it feared. At a thought, every unrooted object answers its will. Blades, loose boulders, and broken branches all rise from the earth to strike. You think you face only a horned beast, only to find the battlefield itself has become its jaws. The drumbeat is the omen. By the time it reaches your ears, the earth has already risen against you. Eat its heart, and every unrooted object becomes yours to command. Blades, rubble, broken timber, anything torn free of the earth can be lifted at a thought and hurled at your enemies. Wherever you stand, the ground itself becomes your armoury. To make an enemy of it is to stand against not one beast but the whole world beneath your feet.
